Artist statement:
I’m a Swedish–Iranian multidisciplinary artist based between Stockholm and London. Working
across sculpture, performance and textiles, my practice explores identity, cultural belonging and
personal history through material and form.
I graduated Royal College of Art in 2023 and has exhibited in London, Stockholm, and Greece. I
have also participated in residencies such as the Ria Keburia Foundation in Georgia and Periplus
Workshop in Greece.
Artist bio:
My practice is multidisciplinary, working across sculpture, performance and textiles to explore
identity, cultural belonging and personal history. I am drawn to materials for their physical and
emotional associations, using fabric, foam and metal as a way to think through the body,
movement and presence.
The work is hands-on and process-driven, allowing form to emerge through making rather than
predetermined outcomes. Through material experimentation, I investigate how personal and
cultural narratives can be held, shaped and transformed through objects and performative
gestures.
